Bengaluru CET Exam Controversy: Students Allegedly Forced to Remove Sacred Threads Despite Official Permission
On April 23 in Bengaluru, students appearing for the CET exam at Krupanidhi PU College were allegedly forced to remove sacred threads despite official permission from KEA guidelines. The incident caused emotional distress, led to staff suspension, police action, and government intervention, raising serious concerns over exam protocol enforcement.
According to accounts shared by one of the affected students, the incident caused significant emotional distress. The student stated that he felt deeply upset and was unable to concentrate on writing the examination properly, resulting in a disrupted performance.
